Ashley Sisti

A Fourth Year English major with a Modern Studies concentration. She is also receiving a minor in Italian. From Powhatan Virginia, she has been dancing for 13 years. During this time, she danced for 6 years at the School of the Richmond Ballet. Ashley is also involved in Fashion Design Club at UVa.

Beth Martin

A Second Year majoring in areospace engineering. Along with Rhapsody, she is also apart of Engineering Student Council and Virginia Dance Company.

Callie Horn

Callie, a second year from Charlottesville, has been dancing for many years at Balletschool. She started dancing because of her old ambitious plan to be staring on Broadway before she got her license. Instead now, she is doing pre-med reqs, and attempting to be a Studio Art /French double major. Far less fun.

Camille Beckman

A Second Year who joined RBE last fall and is extremely hyped about her yellow tutu. She loves dancing barefoot (which, by the way, she hadn't tried until last semester), jumping on trampolines, flying kites, and drawing on chalkboards. Cammille is from Charlottesvile and has colorful Tibetan prayer flags hanging above her bed in violation of the fire code.

Chelsea Vonu

First Year who is exploring fashion and religion this semester. Thus far she is majoring in Undecided and is contemplating minoring in Dance. She is performing in the Experimental Dance Project and is pumped about racing for the Virginia Ski Team this winter. She is from Yorktown, Virginia and has been dancing since she was four. She trained with Sandra Balestracci at the Eastern Virginia School for the Performing Arts in Williamsburg, Virginia for seven years and various other studios beforehand.

Deanna Fernandez

A Third Year Spanish Major, Dance Minor, and Pre-Medical studies student in the College. She is RBE's Treasurer and is also involved in Virginia Dance Company. She has been dancing for 15 years and was trained with the Russell School of Ballet and the Fairfax Ballet Company.

Elicia Williams

Elicia is a Fourth Year majoring in mathematics. She began her dance training at the Virginia Tanner School of Dance in Utah, and trained for several years at the Eastside Ballet Center in Arizona. She later studied on scholarship at the Harid Conservatory in Boca Raton, Florida. This is Elicia's second year with Rhapsody.

Emily Gardner

A Third Year psychology pre-med major. She began dancing at the age of 4 and trained primarily at the Russell School of Ballet in northern Virginia. She was a member of the Fairfax Ballet's Junior Company for 2 years and their Senior Company for 3 years and also spent a summer studying ballet and modern at the Boston Conservatory. She is excited for her second year with Rhapsody!

Hannah Conners

Hannah is a Third year in the Commerce School. She is concentrating in Marketing and Information Technology with a minor in Political Affairs. Hannah began dancing at age 3, and began seriously training at age 11 at the Cary Ballet Conservatory in North Carolina. Some schools she has trained with include Boston Ballet, Harid Ballet Conservatory, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, and Miami City Ballet School. She has performed with Carolina Ballet. As a transfer student, this is her first year at UVA and her first semester in Rhapsody.

Jessica Haney

Jessica started dancing at age 4 and studied at the Russell School of Ballet in Chantilly, VA for 10 years. In high school she was a member of the Fairfax Ballet Company until a family move from the area. She is thrilled to be back on the dance floor with RBE! Jessica is a fourth year double majoring in Political & Social Thought and English (Modern Studies concentration). As a pianist and singer, she is also pursuing a major in Music, is a devoted French-speaker, and loves to travel. Jessica is Rhapsody Ballet Ensemble's Treasurer.

Kasey Johnson

A Fouth Year Biology major and Dance minor in the college. This is her fouth year dancing with Rhapsody and her fifth semester choreographing. She is the Membership Director for Rhapsody, is involved in Sigma Kappa sorority, and is the co-chair of Dance Committee. She is from Richmond, VA, and was trained at the School of Richmond Ballet and the Anna Wyman School of Dance Arts.

Kate Crowder

A Third year History Major. She started dancing at a young age with Georgetown School of Ballet and later the Washington School of Ballet. Though deciding to stop dancing seriously after an injury in high school, she is excited to be back in the studio and is enjoying dancing more than ever. A constant fan, Kate still enjoys attending ballet performances at the Kennedy Center. Kate also hopes to study abroad in England next spring, where she will miss the lovely Rhapsody Girls.

Kate Feldman

Kate is a first-year from Northern VA. Her dance experience has included ballet, modern, jazz, hip-hop, swing, and ballroom (with just a splash of irish and tap!).
She is loving her first semester with the lovely Rhapsody ensemble.
When not on the dance floor, she enjoys burying her nose in big books, and late-night cups of coffee with friends.

Kate Gilchrist

A fourth year Political Philosophy, Policy and Law Major. Kate is from Roanoke Virginia and has been dancing since fifth grade. At UVa she is a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and is involved in the Dance Committee. She would like to thank her fabulous family and friends for all their support.

Kate Rothrock

Kate is a fourth-year majoring in biology. She is also obsessed with foreign languages and speaks Spanish, French, and Portuguese. She has been dancing since she was 6, but decided to try new things in college. By her third year she realized she missed ballet horribly and auditioned for Rhapsody. She is very happy to be dancing again. She plans to attend nursing school next year.

Kathleen Howard

A Third year Art History Major. She has danced with the Inwood Ballet Company and the Loudon Ballet Company. She trained at the Beijing Ballet Academy, the National Ballet of China, and the Shanghai Ballet Company. She competed at the Shanghai International Ballet Competition and is aslo an award winnng choreographer. At UVa, Kathleen is a member of the Cavalier Daily's Ads Department.

Katie Clardy

A Third year finance and german major from Charlotte, NC. She dance for 13 years at Sullivan Dance Center in Charlotte. At UVA, Katie is also invovled with Alpha Delta Pi and Phi Sigma Pi. Katie plans to study abroad next semester in Copenhagen and will miss Rhapsody.

Kelly Ream

A Second Year from Northern Virginia, Kelly has been dancing since age 5 and trained with the Russell School of Ballet. She was a member of the Senior Company of the Fairfax Ballet for 4 years. This is her third semester in Rhapsody and she is loving every minute of it. When she's not dancing, Kelly is involved in Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship and Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. She would like to thank her fantastic family and friends for all their support.

Laura Boorman

Laura is a fourth year History and Spanish major from Charlotte, NC. She has danced since the age of five and has spent summers studying with Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet and Charleston Ballet Theatre. At UVA, Laura is also involved with Kappa Delta, Madison House, and the Abundant Life tutoring program. In the spring of 2007, she studied abroad in Valencia, Spain, but is excited to be back in Charlottesville and dancing with Rhapsody again!

Lorna Schadeberg

Began dancing at the age of 4 and performed for 14 years with Arlington Center for Dance as a member of the Center Dance Company. Although ballet is her main dance form, she has also studied modern, jazz, musical theater, swing, character, and flemenco. Lorna has performed in many ballets including: The Firebird, The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, and Paquita. Lorna is a Third Year at the University and is a major in Foreign Affairs and History.

Mary Catherine Saunders

Mary Catherine Saunders has danced for 15 years, during which she has taken ballet, tap, jazz, musical theater, and modern and has studied with VA School of the Arts, Richmond Ballet, and tap legend Jared Grimes. With the Fredericksburg Ballet Company she enjoyed the roles of Spring Fairy, Blue Bird, Odette, and Sugar Plum Fairy. She has also performed with Project Dance in Times Square, as a guest artist with the Dance Matrix Dance Company, and in numerous theatrical productions. Mary Catherine is a first-year SEAS student, hoping to pursue biomedical engineering with a dance minor.

Maya Kumazawa

Maya is a Fourth Year in the Commerce School (Finance concentration), with a double major in German. Prior to college she danced with the Southwest Virginia Ballet in Roanoke Virginia. She is also a member of the Virginia Dance Company and Dance Committee.

Nancy Chae

A Second Year Psychology major and Spanish minor. She previously danced at the Virginia Ballet Company in Fairfax, VA from the age of 5 through high school. She has performed in The Nutcracker, Snow White, Alice in Wonderland, and The Red Shoes at the company. Other than RBE, she is invloved in UPC and Madison House's Big Sib program. Additionally, she enjoys attending rock concerts, watching Disney classics, and taking long walks on the beach. This is her third semester with RBE, and she can't get enough of it!

Robbie Saclarides

A first-year from Charlotte, NC, Robbie has danced since she was 5 with the Charlotte School of Ballet. She began performing full length ballets with the Charlotte Youth Ballet when she was 9, starting as a cook in The Nutcracker and ending as Clara and the company president. She also spent summers dancing with the Cecchetti Council of America and Charleston Ballet Theatre. She couldn't be happier that she found Rhapsody!

Sarah Drummond

A Third Year Environmental Science/Astronomy major. She danced for 10 years at the Eastern Shore's Own Arts Center before attending UVa. This is her third year with Rhapsody, second year volunteering with Madison House, and first year on Resident Staff.

Stephanie Marshall

Stephanie is a second year pre-med, planning on majoring in Cognitive Science. She has been dancing since the age of 3. The majority of her dance training took place at the Metropolitan Fine Arts Center in Alexandria, VA, where she performed as a soloist and member of the Senior Ensemble. Additionally, Stephanie loves to perform hustle, swing, and salsa. In her spare time, she likes to ride horses, sing, tutor through Madison House, and spend as much time as possible with her wonderful family and friends. Stephanie is from Clifton, VA.

Tessa Nunn

A Second Year French and Education major and Dance Minor. She danced at the Chamber Ballet in Williamsburg, Virginia. Tessa teaches dance, group fitness, and yoga classes through UVA IM-REC. Tessa is also involved in Young Womens Leadership Program, Seeds 4 Change, and the Cavalier Daily. Tessa likes to bake cookies and watch musicals.
